Next week, Pearl Jam will be back in Boston for two huge shows at Fenway Park on Sunday and Tuesday. But before they do, the ghost of Pearl Jam shows past, is visiting and taking us back in time with an exclusive vinyl release of the band’s 1994 concert at The Orpheum in Boston. Recorded at the tail end of the mythic Vs. Tour, Live at the Orpheum Theatre showcases a dream setlist created especially by the Pearl Jam crew and has for years been one of the most sought-after recordings among Pearl Jam fans. The ’94 Orpheum show is the final show of a three-night run in Boston that week with the first two being played at the 15,000-capacity Boston Garden, this intimate gig took place at the 2,700-seat Orpheum. The concert happened exactly one week after the death of fellow Seattle Grunge legend Kurt Cobain.

A limited edition 180g black pressing is the only standalone vinyl release of this recording. 100 copies of a Fenway color variant (1 Blue LP, 1 Red LP) have been pressed and will be shipped randomly to a lucky few who order this release.

The record will be available Friday, August 31st.
