Editor’s note: Pennsylvania emo group The Wonder Years were back in New England on Friday night, this time visiting Providence, RI. Touring in support of their sixth studio album, Sister Cities, The Wonder Years are one of a select few bands who have not only survived the popularity decline of the emo/pop-punk genre but in fact, are thriving. Their latest studio album peaked at number eighteen on the Billboard 200 charts, becoming their second album to crack the top twenty. With support from Have Mercy, Oso Oso and Shortly, The Wonder Years provided Providence with a night to remember, our own Patrick Moran was on hand to capture photos from the scene, check them out below.
