Editor’s note: Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda is in uncharted territory right now, and that’s okay. After the death of his friend and bandmate Chester Bennington, the number one question on everyone’s mind is “what’s next?” It’s a question that Shinoda doesn’t have an answer for yet. The only thing question he can definitively answer at the moment is “what are you doing now?” Right now, he’s healing. Healing through music, through touring, through the love and support of friends and the millions of people who loved Linkin Park. Shinoda is currently out on tour in support of his solo album Post Traumatic, an album that deals directly with the grief he’s been going through in an almost shockingly honest manner. These solo shows have become a catharsis for all involved. Along with songs from the new record, Shinoda performs select Linkin Park tracks during his shows, often times with the audience singing Bennington’s portion of the songs. Last night, Shinoda was in Boston, MA at House of Blues performing along with opener Don Broco, we were on hand to capture some visuals from the performance and you can see them all below!
