Editor’s note: California post-hardcore group Movements had a unique path to success. After playing just a single local gig, they were signed to Fearless Records for a 3 album deal. The first of those three albums, Feel Something was released in October 2017 and landed at No. 21 on the US Alternative charts. Since then, Movements have gone on to acquire their own rabid fan base, playing sold out shows worldwide. Last Thursday night, one of those sold out shows took place in Boston, MA at Royale. Kelsey Lockhart was on hand capturing visual evidence of a stacked bill of bands representing the new frontier of alternative music.
