PHOTOS: Japanese Breakfast, Mannequin Pussy in Holyoke, MA (08.02.21)
Editor’s note: Michelle Zauner has already had a big year in 2021, in addition to releasing her first book Crying in H Mart in April, she dropped her third studio album under the Japanese Breakfast moniker in June. Zauner even directed the music video for “Savage Good Boy” the third single from the album. Even with all that going on, Japanese Breakfast booked perhaps one of the most ambitious tours by any act this year with Zauner and her live band committing to more than 60 shows from July to November. Recently, Zauner and her band visited Gateway City Arts in Holyoke, MA. Brianna Gately made the trip to Western Mass to capture some ethereal images of Japanese Breakfast and supporting act Mannequin Pussy, check out her gallery below.
