When Sad Summer Festival announced its lineup and dates last February, none of us had any idea of exactly how long we’d have to wait for our chance to see the tour. But on Saturday after 18 months and two postponements, New England’s day finally came. As in 2019, everything went down in Worcester at Palladium’s outdoor space which played host to the touring festival’s local stop as it took over part of downtown Worcester. Food trucks and merch tents punctuated the grounds that would eventually fill in with a crowd upwards of 8,400 people to see sets from Charlotte Sands, Grayscale, Movements, Four Year Strong, The Maine, and finally All Time Low.

All Time Low are Sad Summer’s headliner touring in support of their eighth studio album – Wake Up, Sunshine. The album, which dropped last April features tracks such as “Some Kind of Disaster” and “Monsters” the latter of which became the group’s highest charting song to date. They also released a brand new single earlier this year called “Once in a Lifetime” which you can see the music video for now.
