PHOTOS: MisterWives, LPX in Boston, MA (01.09.22)
Editor’s note: NYC-based indie-pop group MisterWives kicked off their 2022 touring schedule in Boston on Sunday night. They open the year on a short run of headline dates that were rescheduled from December due to COVID. Their current tour is in support of their 2020 album Superbloom, the band’s third studio album to date. MisterWives signature when it comes to their live performance is a vibrant stage setup, and this tour is no different. It’s possibly their most elaborate to date. Opening up for them is Lizzy Plapinger, otherwise known as LPX, who rose to fame as half of the duo MS MR. Kelsey Lockhart secured New England Sounds’ first byline of 2022 with her colorful photos of MisterWives and LPX’s performances. Check those out below.
