Named after Ella Fitzgerald, rising indie pop singer Ella Jane began playing piano at age 4 and writing her own songs at age 11 and has been on track for stardom ever since. Her musical journey first brought her to New England as a student at Tufts University. Soon after, a first semester assignment lead her to write a song about The Great Gatsby she went viral when she shared said song to TikTok. Since then she’s been building a following organically, and her latest release, Marginalia, is out now. Ella Jane is on a short run of headline dates to promote it. Her tour kicked off with back to back shows at Berklee’s Cafe 939, check out photos from the show below.
