Editor’s note: New England born singer-songwriter and former Berklee College of Music student Madi Diaz was recently back on campus at the school, playing a sold out show at The Red Room at Cafe 939. She’s touring behind her latest release, an EP titled Same History, New Feelings – made up of re-imagined versions of four songs off her 2021 LP History of a Feeling. The EP features collaborations from Waxahatchee and Angel Olsen among others. New England Sounds contributor Alexandra Santos was in the room at Diaz’ recent show.
