LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: Dayglow in Boston, MA (11.18.22)

The sold out crowd packed House of Blues on a recent Friday night, with anticipation of seeing Dayglow. They were in Boston touring their junior album People in Motion, which was released earlier this year. The album upbeat and combines their pop style with mixes of folk melodies.

The music for “Radio,” began when Sloan Struble – who is the band’s frontman – appeared on stage. Struble included the crowd immediately and it continued for the rest of the show. After every song, they spoke and expressed their appreciation for the sold out crowd and everyone that has listened to their music.

They continued into their set with “Then It All Goes Away,” and “Hot Rod ” both notable songs. One from their most recent album and one from Fuzzybrain that was released three years ago. Their setlist was compiled with a series of throwbacks and mixed with their new releases.

The vocals and crowd interaction that was expressed during Dayglow’s show, is clear why their fans are so passionate. With such amazing talent and personality, I cannot wait to see all of the success and growth that this band has and to see them the next time they’re in Boston.
