Editor’s note: It’s 2018, and once again emo music is back in style. So what better time for the re-emergence of some emo heroes past? Dashboard Confessional, the Chris Carrabba led group who dominated the alternative charts in the early 2000’s are back with their first studio album in nine years, Crooked Shadows. The new album has the band back on tour and bringing not only new music, but plenty of nostalgia across North America. On Friday night, the House of Blues was packed to capacity with 20 and 30 somethings reverting back to their teenage years and screaming at the top of their lungs.
