Editor’s note: English glam rock The Struts are a rare breed of modern band. If you put them in a time machine and sent them back to the 1970’s they would fit right in. In fact they would probably now in the pantheon of greats alongside Queen, Aerosmith, and Def Leppard. But instead, they’re ours to enjoy in all their glittery glory. Last night, they took the stage at a New England venue where so many of their influences have played, the 100+ year old Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. Bolstered by the hard rocking duo Bones UK, The Struts rocked Hampton Beach to it’s core. Michael Last was there on assignment for New England Sounds capturing images from the colorful show.
