Editor’s Note: Local legends The Zulus recent reunion gig can lay claim to being an original, it was postponed before postponing shows was in. Originally planned for 2019 a medical situation within the band caused it to be pushed to 2020 and you know the rest of the story on that one. But last Friday night the day finally came. For those of us who weren’t around the Boston Music Scene in the ’80s and early ’90s (myself included), The Zulus were a locally popular group that formed out of the ashes of the group Human Sexual Response. The folks over at WBUR did an in-depth look on the group, so we’ll defer to Jim Sullivan on that one, as he was actually there for their heyday. Our own Matt Lambert was on the scene at the reunion gig, however, and you can have a look through his photos from the night below.
