PHOTOS: State Champs, Four Year Strong, Real Friends in Boston, MA (10.17.21)
Editor’s note: As fall concert schedules started to fill in this summer, many labeled the 2021 Pure Noise Records Tour as their “can’t miss” show of the fall. It’s pretty easy to see why when you look at the absolutely stacked bill of State Champs, Four Year Strong, Real Friends, Just Friends, and Bearings. That’s a night of pop punk that would be sure to pack most venues it visited. That was certainly the case in New England where the tour stopped off at Boston’s Big Night Live for a roaring show that was a homecoming for Four Year Strong. FYS and Bearings are the only bands on the tour promoting recently released records, with Bearings touring their second studio album and FYS touring their seventh. But it was all retrospective songs for the other bands on the tour as each did have a few tastes of new music from upcoming albums to treat their fans to. Kelsey Lockhart battled through some wicked Boston traffic to capture some images from most of the show as she arrived in time to catch every set from Real Friends on. Check out her shots below.
