Editor’s note: The Thanksgiving holiday means one thing for the live music industry; hometown shows. In Boston, there were a handful of options, but the biggest was the duel homecoming of two 90’s alt-rock staples Dinosaur Jr. and The Lemonheads. For Dinosaur Jr. the show was the conclusion of the 2021 leg of their headline tour in support of their new album Sweep It Into Space. As for The Lemonheads live shows and nostalgia continue to be their focus. Rockford, IL born singer/songwriter Ryley Walker who just recently moved to Vermont also performed an opening set on the night.
