PHOTOS: Mr. Bungle, Battles in Boston, MA (09.11.23)
Prior to last Monday, California experimental metal group Mr. Bungle hadn’t visited Boston in 23 years. Though the individual members (Mike Patton, Scott Ian, Dave Lombardo, Trey Spruance, and Trevor Dunn) have been through in their various other projects during that time period. The band separated in 2000 and it wasn’t until 2019 that they reunited. Their loyal and hardcore fan base held out however, and their first reunion shows sold out in minutes. Their show last week at a packed Roadrunner in Boston was a loud, chaotic party that only Mike Patton could emcee.
