PHOTOS: Waterparks, Loveless, Sophie Powers in Boston, MA (03.13.24)
Houston, TX based pop-punk trio Waterparks released their fifth studio album, Intellectual Property, last April. The record is their first LP with popular label Fueled by Ramen. They’ve been touring the record since last spring, last visiting New England in May 2023 when they played Boston’s House of Blues on a competing date with Boston Calling. This time around they came back to a bigger venue on a more convenient date. The group have one of the most passionate fan bases out there and that was on display during last weeks visit when fans began lining up as early as 3am, many in the audience also dressed up in costumes based of the band’s songs or music videos.
