Hot Gig Alert (11/22+11/23): Mayday Parade makes their return to Boston this weekend
As Thanksgiving creeps up on us a week from today, the last of the late fall/winter tours seem to be settling down. I personally have a full roster of things planned for the next few days, including the return of emo-punk long-stays, Mayday Parade this weekend at MGM as direct support to All Time Low! Lots of twenty-year celebrations are in town this weekend, with just as long-time Chicago act The Academy Is taking the stage across the street at House of Blues just the night before. While that show is sure to be pure nostalgia, with the band promising new music in 2026, Mayday hasn’t slowed down at all. The band is fresh off the release of the second of three albums they’re releasing in celebration of twenty years as a band, with Sad, dropping in October of this year, and the third aimed for early 2026.
These Boston Mayday shows are some of the last on this run, but they are capping off an incredibly busy year of a headlining tour in Australia, as well as their own headliner earlier this year. Not to mention, the band played a handful of the return to Warped Tour’s dates this year, of course, including in the nearby Orlando to their hometown of Tallahassee, as well as a return to When We Were Young this year. From what I can tell, the band’s setlist promises to be a mix of hits and tunes from their latest two records. A set that is sure to go over wildly well, considering the company they keep on this run.
As well as All Time Low, Mayday, and ATL, will be feted by New England vets Four Year Strong, as well as The Paradox. While Saturday’s show is sold out, limited tickets can still be picked up for Sunday’s show here! These shows are early ones, with doors at 6, and music starting at 6:30, so definitely try to get there early for a night of music that’s sure to please your elder-emo hearts! This line-up is also taking on a European run in early 2026, and those dates can be found here!
