PHOTOS: The Amity Affliction in Boston, MA (05.24.24)
In 2024 Australian metalcore band The Amity Affliction are celebrating the tenth anniversary of their platinum selling album, Let the Ocean Take Me. The album is widely considered to be one of the best metalcore albums of the 2010’s. For the tenth anniversary the group have embarked on a world tour during which they perform the record in full each night. On Friday night the tour was in Boston, MA where a last minute lineup changed threatened the show. Bassist and co-vocalist Ahren Stringer left the tour earlier in the day to return to Australia for mental health reasons, at the last minute Tim Beken from the band True North stepped in to save the show.
