Georgia-born platinum hitmaker Cole Swindell was back in New England last week for a pair of shows on the Own the Night Tour in Boston, MA and Gilford, NH respectively. Swindell’s latest hit is 2022’s “She Had Me at Heads Carolina” an ode to 90’s country music inspired by the seminal song “Heads Carolina, Tails California” by Framingham, MA native Jo Dee Messina. The song is featured on his fourth studio album Stereotype, also released in 2022. Last year Swindell released a deluxe version of that album called Stereotype Broken that contained three previously unreleased songs. Thursday night’s show in Boston was attended by Bruins captain Brand Marchand who gifted Swindell an autographed jersey that Swindell wore for the final four songs of the show.
