PHOTOS: Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters in Fall River, MA (06.07.25)

Editor’s note: NYC-born blues artist Ronnie Earl has deep ties to the New England area. After high school, Earl moved to Boston to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and Education at Boston University, where he would graduate in 1975. His first job as a musician was working as a rhythm guitarist at The Speakeasy, a blues club in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 1984, Earl formed his own band, which he called ‘The Broadcasters’. The band was named after one of the first Fender guitars, distributed in 1950, which was originally labeled The Broadcaster. Earl still plays around the New England area intermittently with The Broadcasters, his most recently appearance here came earlier this month in Massachusetts.
