PHOTOS: AFI in Boston, MA (10.10.25)
Punk rock legends AFI are back on the road in support of their twelfth studio album, Silver Bleeds the Black Sun…, that came out earlier this month via Boston-based label Run For Cover Records. The release is their first with RFC and one of the biggest RFC has done, as they typically work with more underground artists. Friday’s show also marked AFI’s largest headline gig in Boston since 2009 when they also headlined House of Blues, in recent visits they’ve often been headlining at Royale, or opening for larger tours such as last year’s slot supporting 30 Seconds to Mars. On Sunday night, they were also in New England, visiting The Dome at Oakdale Theater. Their current tour will continue across North America, with the final US date coming in early November in San Diego. Check out some images from Friday night’s show in Boston below.
