Hot Gig Alert (12/12): Dalton & The Sheriffs bow out with farewell performance at House of Blues
Recently, Boston’s Dalton & The Sheriffs announced that their scheduled performance at Boston’s House of Blues on Friday, December 12, will be their last performance together before the band goin on indefinite hiatus.
The special event is raising funds for The Ryan Seacrest Foundation and Boston Children’s Hospital, and will also feature a performance from Ghost Hounds. Proceeds from the evening will support the Boston Children’s Hospital and The Ryan Seacrest Foundation, who do vital work building and operating broadcast media centers called Seacrest Studios in pediatric hospitals across the country. Funds gifted to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation will go towards renovations of Seacrest Studios at Boston Children’s Hospital next year.
On the final show, Dalton & The Sheriffs stated, “After our December shows, Dalton & The Sheriffs will be taking an indefinite hiatus. I’ve never been in a band with better guys. It’s all love between us. I just haven’t figured out how to make the finances sustainable. That’s on me. But, we have a chance to do the most Dalton thing ever. We’re opening for Ghost Hounds at House of Blues on December 12. Both bands are donating their performances and the show proceeds will go to renovate the Seacrest Studio at Children’s Hospital. Tickets are $35 with fees. Let’s sell it out and get the kids an incredible studio upgrade. It’s been one hell of a ride and we’re forever grateful.”
