Theatrical Swedish heavy metal band Avatar are back in the USA after releasing their tenth studio album, Don’t Go in the Forest, on Halloween, appropriately enough. Their most recent visit to the New England area came last September when they performed at Silver Scream Con in Worcester, MA. In their 24 years together, the group has become well known for their elaborate live performances with horror-themed productions. Wednesday’s shows featured several stage props, including a massive throne for guitarist Jonas “Kungen” Jarlsby to play in during the song “Legend of the King.” Check out photos from Avatar’s pre-Thanksgiving appetizer in Boston on Wednesday night.
