PHOTOS: Billy Gibbons and The BFG’s in Mashantucket, CT (02.20.26)
Editor’s note: Founding ZZ Top member Billy Gibbons was in New England late last month touring with his solo project Billy Gibbons and the BFG’s. Launched in 2015 Gibbons’ solo project has produced four studio releases, the most recent of which, Cruising with Billy F Gibbons, came out last year. The group features Gibbons with Mike “The Drifter” Flanigin and Chris “Whipper” Layton on bass and drums respectively. Gibbons and the BFG’s will return to New England in September to play Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction, VT.
