PHOTOS: Social Distortion, Descendents, The Chats in Boston, MA (09.09.26)
Last week, punk rock legends Social Distortion visited New England on their current tour promoting their new album, Born to Kill. The album is Social D’s first studio album in fifteen years, following up 2011’s Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes. It debuted at No. 33 on the Billboard 200. The Born to Kill World Tour kicked off in New England in July, with the first three shows of the tour in Vermont, Maine, and Connecticut, respectively. The US tour will continue into the first week of October before the band gets a short break and heads to South America in November. They’ve brought along a stellar support bill as well, with SoCal punk legends Descendents in the direct support slot and upstart Aussie punk rock band The Chats, who’ve been making waves in the modern punk scene since their debut album in 2020.
