California rock outfit Rooney made their way to Brighton Music Hall last night,  Rooney brainchild of the multi-talented Robert Schwartzman, who you may also know from appearances in the popular television series The O.C. and the movie The Princess Bride. Schwartzman formed Rooney in 1999 and released the first album under the Rooney moniker in 2003, the band would go on to enjoy marked success in the early 2000’s, receiving radio play and making appearances in TV and movie soundtracks. They’re best known for hits like “When Did Your Heart Go Missing?” and “I’m Shakin”. Currently they’re gearing up for the release of their latest EP this summer. Support at their show last night came from upstart Irish rockers Romes and popular heavy indie outfit Run River North.
