Brooklyn soul rock band The London Souls have had a pretty decent summer in the world of live music. From a coveted slot opening for rock icons The Who for three shows, to festival appearances at Lollapalooza, Electric Forrest, and Shaky Knees the retro-rock duo have played some of North America’s biggest stages this year. The band is made up of long time friends Tash Neal and Chris St. Hilarie who met in high school and formed The London Souls in 2008. Their most recent studio album, 2015’s “Here Come the Girls” received widespread critical acclaim and has been heralded as their “breakthrough record.” They’re currently wrapping up a run of headline dates with support from awe-inspiring San Francisco funk outfit Con Brio. The tour stopped by the Brighton Music Hall in Boston, MA last night where both bands treated fans to a night of soulful rock and funk music.
