Editor’s note: Hailing from Lafayette, Louisiana indie-pop group GIVERS know how to have a good time. The three-piece band, expanded to five members in a live setting have been touring for roughly 10 years now, and in that time have honed their live show into a masterpiece. The kind of show you’d expect to see from the major label indie pop bands, but in a more accessible, intimate setting. On Sunday night, they were at Boston’s most intimate venue, Great Scott to provide exactly that. Right from the jump co-lead singers Tiffany Lamson and Taylor Guarisco were an energetic force on stage. Their upbeat attitudes and sound had everyone in the room dancing along with their songs. Lamson even ventured into the crowd during of the band’s songs. GIVERS are the type of band you already love (such as: Grouplove, Matt & Kim, Oh Wonder) but playing on stages where you can get up close and personal with the band and truly be part of the show.
