Editor’s note: 90’s alt-rock legends Garbage have spent much of 2018 celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark album Version 2.0. A world tour and an official re-issue of the album with bonus tracks have driven Garbage back into the spotlight, even permeating the sports world with an appearance at halftime of a recent Monday Night Football game. The celebration has created a new generation of Garbage fans and allowed some of the groups’ long-time fans the opportunity to relive their youth or even share the experience with their children. On Tuesday night, with the World Series taking place quite literally right across the street, Garbage took over House of Blues in Boston for a sold-out show. New England Sounds photographer and resident 90’s music specialist Matt Lambert was on hand to capture some scenes from the night’s action, check out his work below.
