Editor’s note: In the five years since the release of their major label debut, Vessel, twenty one pilots have risen from virtual obscurity to heights that most artists only dream of. Their last album, Blurryface became the first LP in the history of recorded music to see each individual track receive gold certification or higher from the RIAA. The Ohio based duo regularly sell out arenas worldwide and have played headline slots at countless festivals. Earlier this month, twenty one pilots dropped their latest release, titled Trench, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and debuted as the No. 1 record in six countries worldwide. To promote the album, they have embarked on the Bandito World Tour. Still in it’s earliest stages, the tour came to New England for the first time on Friday night with an appearence at TD Garden in Boston, MA. The show sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale and as expected TD Garden was packed to capacity on Friday night with some fans lining up as early as 7 am. New England Sounds’ own Patrick Moran was on hand for the hysteria laden show on Friday capturing images of twenty one pilots and supporting acts Awolnation and Max Frost. Check out his work below!
