Editor’s note: Pop star Jesse McCartney has lived a life in the spotlight. His entertainment career began when he was just a teenager and a member of popular boy band Dream Street while also juggling an acting career, portraying JR Chandler on the daytime soap opera All My Children. He parlayed his stardom into a successful solo career that generated numerous hits, including the monster single “Leavin'” in 2008 which later became a platinum-selling single. His last studio album, In Technicolor, came out in 2014. Last year he announced his return to music with the new single “Better With You” and the promise of forthcoming new music. Earlier this week McCartney was at House of Blues in Boston, MA where he played to a crowd of fans who braved cold temperatures to see his show.
