Sego debut music video for “Heart Attack,” play in Boston on May 10th

LA by way of Utah garage rock outfit Sego has shared the video for their new single “Heart Attack” on Under The Radar. The song is their third single of the year.

Recently, the band’s track “Neon Me Out” was recently featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered after originally premiering on Billboard. In January they announced their new LP Sego Sucks and shared the Matt Odom directed video for their new single “Shame” on Consequence of Sound. The band also did an Origins piece for the website, explaining their influences behind the track. Sego Sucks will be out 4/5 via Roll Call Records. The group also announced a couple shows including a New England show at Great Scott in Boston, MA on May 10th.

The band’s album title originates from what started as a hashtag from some disgruntled audience member, ‘Sego Sucks’ ended up encapsulating the ethos behind this entire record.

The band has taken ownership of the negative comment and made it their own. They’ve even gotten Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore on board, as well as comedian Gilbert Gottfried and Jenny Lee of Warpaint. Expect others to say #Segosucks in the upcoming weeks.
