HOT GIG ALERT: Nothing More at House of Blues – Boston (3/12)

Hailing from San Antonio, TX, Nothing More is known for their radio-heavy tracks that continue to top the Billboard charts. After the success of hits like “This Is The Time (Ballast),” “Mr. MTV” and”Jenny,” all of which hit within the top 15 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart, Nothing More had another strong output with their 2017 Grammy-nominated album The Stories We Tell Ourselves. The first single “Go To War” hit #1 on Rock Radio and got the attention of The Recording Academy, followed by “Just Say When” and their most recent single, “Let ‘Em Burn.”

Nothing More is also regarded for their incredible live show full of frenetic energy and featuring a massive stage prop called the Scorpion Tail. This 400-pound, 14-foot tall Mad Max-like animated structure was built by bassist Daniel Oliver from scrap metal and salvaged auto and motorcycle parts. Vocalist Jonny Hawkins rides the contraption onstage while simultaneously creating digital electronic effects for the songs.

Currently, the band is in the midst of their headlining The Truth Tour with support from Of Mice And Men, Badflower and Palisades. The Truth Tour is rooted in the concept that music and the spirit of rock’n’roll are pure forms of truth that can bring people together, spark new ideas, new ways of thinking and through that, inspire changes in ourselves and our world. The band has partnered with the leaders of voter registration, HeadCount who will be setting up a pop-up activation to encourage sign-ups at each stop, as well as partnering with mental health charity, To Write Love on Her Arms by donating $1 from each ticket to support the movement.

Nothing More plays House of Blues in Boston, MA on Tuesday, March 12th at 5:30pm, tickets start at $26 and are available HERE.
