Jagwar Twin announces US headline dates, visiting Boston in July
Jagwar Twin has announced ‘Jagwar Twin: Live In Close Proximity’ U.S. headlining dates, kicking off July 20th in Anaheim, CA and making stops in select major cities across the country and visiting New England in the form of a July 31st show at Great Scott Tickets are on sale tomorrow and will be available HERE. Jagwar Twin will also perform at Bumbershoot during Labor Day weekend August 30 – September 1 in Seattle, WA.
The tour comes on the heels of Jagwar Twin’s spring run of explosive shows opening for lovelytheband, where crowds were immediately electrified by a magnetic stage presence, energized unity, and anthemic songs from new album Subject to Flooding, which seesprophet-like poetry paired against a landscape of 60’s style guitars, gritty hip-hop break beats, and flipped MPC samples reminiscent of Dark Fantasy-era Kanye West.
Offering a perspective that leaves room for everyone where egos are set aside and a “we, not me” mentality reigns, Jagwar Twin’s music immediately garnered early attention. “Loser,” a track that breaks down the walls between us and serves as a reminder that we are all the same underneath, made an instantaneous splash after premiering worldwide on Zane Lowe’s Beats1, racking up more than 4 million Spotify streams and garnering early Alternative Radio airplay.
