Editor’s note: On Friday night, Boston’s Seaport district was overtaken by the smooth, soulful sound of Americana musician Shakey Graves. A one man show when writing and recording, he brings along a backing band for his live shows, but the spotlight is always on him. In just over a year Shakey Graves has gone from headlining the 1,200 capacity Royale nightclub to the 5, 200 capacity Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion on the waterfront. His popularity rising in large part due to his 2018 album Can’t Wake Up. His current tour is a co-headline run that also features Philadelphia psychedelic rock outfit Dr. Dog, and supporting act Liz Cooper & the Stampede. Brianna Gately was on hand at the show on Friday, capturing visuals from all three acts, you can look through her gallery below.
