PHOTOS: Glass Animals, BLACKSTARKIDS in Boston, MA (09.29.21)
British electronic rock group Glass Animals have faced plenty of adversity since their 2016 album How to Be a Human Being pushed them into the mainstream. In 2018 drummer Joe Seaward was critically injured in a lorry accident, forcing the band to cancel tour dates for the remainder of the year. They wouldn’t get back on the road until the end of 2019, and got only 13 shows into 2020 before you know what. They did manage to write, record, and release their third studio album Dreamland in that time frame, with the album dropping in August 2020. But it’s still the live shows that are Glass Animals’ strength. So with all that behind them, the band are finally back out on the road touring to support their new record. They recently made it to Boston to play at Leader Bank Pavilion with opener BLACKSTARKIDS. We were on hand to capture some images of the performance, check them out below.
