PHOTOS: Rival Sons, Jameson Burt in Boston, MA (10.24.21)
Editor’s note: When Long Beach, CA rockers Rival Sons released their sophomore album Pressure & Time in 2011 it quickly took off among fans of good old rock n’ roll. They were hit with that lamentable label of “Next Led Zeppelin” that’s been attached to virtually every rock group with a blues influence and a singer who can hit the high notes since the original Led Zeppelin hung it up. As it turns out they would instead go on to be the first Rival Sons, achieving their own international success with top ten albums in over ten countries and a pair of Grammy nominations in 2019. Ten years later the band are celebrating the album that really kicked it all off with a North American tour that sees them performing the record front to back every night. On Sunday night the tour was in New England at House of Blues in Boston, MA where Matt Lambert was in attendance capturing the action on his camera.
