In 2022 politically charged music has become the norm, for Rise Against that’s nothing new. The long politically active band whose views caused controversy in the Bush era still have their bite in the current political climate. On their latest record, Nowhere Generation, they tackle subjects such as racism, corporate greed, and generational despair. The group have been on a world tour since last year shortly after the album’s June release. After visiting Western Massachusetts back in April, Rise Against were back in the area on Friday night for a show with support from emo heroes The Used and Senses Fail. New England Sounds was onsite to capture some visuals from the high energy show that saw crowd surfers keeping security busy all night long.
