Editor’s Note: Dutch hip hop artist Stromae has seen widespread international success, especially in France where his sophomore studio album Racine carrée, which came out in 2013, has been certified 4x Diamond, the only record to ever achieve that certification in France. Earlier this year he released his third studio album, Multitude, which debuted at No.1 on the World Music albums chart in the US and has already been certified 2x Platinum in France and Belgium. He’s currently about to wrap up a North American headline tour this week. Last week he was in New England performing at Boston University.
