PHOTOS: Chase Rice, Dalton Dover, Avery Anna in Boston, MA (04.14.23)
The last time country star Chase Rice performed in Boston, MA he was playing at a fan fest taking place prior to Game One of the 2019 Stanley Cup Finals in which the Bruins were playing. This time around his visit also coincided with the start of the Bruins playoff run which began last night. But on Friday night it was all about Chase as fans filed into a sold out House of Blues on Lansdowne St. Rice is on tour supporting his new album I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go to Hell released on February 10th of this year. He would play through all thirteen tracks on Friday, adding in a few classics and a cover of the Florida Georgia Line hit “Cruise” on which Rice has a songwriting credit. During the show’s encore Rice brought out his dog, much to the delight of the Boston crowd. Following his set, he jumped down into the barricade area to take selfies with and sign autographs for fans in the front row. Check out some photos from Chase Rice’s electric performance below.
