GALLERY: The Backseat Lovers in Boston, MA (06.01.23)

Editor’s note: There aren’t a ton of rock bands that come out of Utah, but when their single “Kilby Girl” went viral in 2019 The Backseat Lovers established that maybe there should be. “Kilby Girl” currently sits at over 230 million streams on Spotify alone, with several other songs way over a million streams. So when the group rolled into Boston last week it was no surprise they would be playing to a sold-out crowd. While their 2019 album When We Were Friends was what put them on the map they’re currently on the road in support of their sophomore album Waiting to Spill. The album is their major label debut and landed at No.1 on the Alternative New Artist Albums chart. We got the opportunity to catch their recent Boston show, check out some photos from that show below.
