Editor’s note: Post-hardcore veterans Pierce the Veil treated Boston to a Pre-Thanksgiving appetizer last week in the form of a Tuesday night show at MGM Music Hall. The trio, along with touring drummer Loniel Robinson, are on the road in support of the band’s first album in seven years, The Jaws of Life. The new record features collaborations with Third Eye Blind drummer Brad Hargreaves who recorded all the drumming portions of the album, as well as singer-songwriter Chloe Moriondo who is featured on the song “12 Fractures” the album’s final song. Upon it’s release in February The Jaws of Life topped the Hard Rock Albums chart, the group’s third consecutive album to do so landed at No. 14 on the overall Billboard 200.
