When the members of Cold War Kids first met at Biola University in 2004 and formed the band, it’s tough to imagine they expected to become a staple in the indie rock scene with multiple gold records and a platinum selling single. While they never became an arena headlining act they’ve still managed to outlast so many of their peers. 2024 sees the band celebrating 20 years together, as well as the release of a brand new, self-titled album. Last week the tour rolled into New England for a show in Boston that would see them playing with support from New Jersey native Joe Parella, known as Joe P. Just two days after the show Joe P released his latest single, “Shadow in the Sun” his first release of 2024. Check out photos from both sets below.
