Editor’s note: Legendary “Red Rocker” Sammy Hagar has one of this summer’s hottest tours with his Best of All Worlds tour. Hagar, for those unfamiliar spent fifteen years with the legendary rock band Van Halen over two separate stints from 1985-1996 and again from 2003-2005. He also had a very successful solo career both before and after his Van Valen years. His setlist this summer is made up of songs from both his solo days and his Van Halen era. His band on the tour consists of an all-star lineup made up of original Van Halen bassist Micheal Anthony, Jason Bonham, son of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, and platinum selling guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani. The tour recently made two stops in New England visiting Hartford and Mansfield, Mike Von Villas was at the Mansfield date to capture some images of both Hagar and support act Loverboy.
