Editor’s note: On her last visit to New England, Faye Webster was still drumming up interest in her then-unreleased fifth studio album, Underdressed at the Symphony. At the time, only two songs from the record were out, so fans had not had the opportunity to hear or learn the others. In the interim Webster experienced a surge in popularity via TikTok with two of her songs going viral on the platform within the last year. During that period her Spotify streams have increased 1100% and she experienced a nearly 3000% growth in her YouTube views. With her new album released in March and a vastly larger fan base, Webster returned recently, graduating from the 3,500 capacity Roadrunner to the 8,500 capacity Stage at Suffolk Downs in Boston.
