PHOTOS: Kings of Leon in Boston, MA (09.16.24)
Editor’s note: In the 00’s there were few rock bands as commercially successful as Kings of Leon. Multiple Grammy Awards, five multi-platinum albums and one of the decade’s biggest hits, “Sex on Fire” made them a force to be reckoned with. Things slowed down a bit for them in the 10’s however as they only released two albums from 2011 to 2020. But in the 20’s they’ve positioned themselves for a major comeback. With a new album in 2021 and a new one this year, titled Can We Please Have Fun, the group are on the comeback path. They recently played MGM in Boston where they played to a full house. In an unusual tour routing decision, rather than book a second consecutive night they’ve lined up a second Boston show on October 7th.
