PHOTOS: Mass of the Fermenting Dregs in Cambridge, MA (10.05.24)
Japan-based hardcore/shoegaze trio Mass of the Fermenting Dregs brought the energy of their first-ever US tour to The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA. Having launched a crowdfunding campaign with goals of traveling in the US, the Kickstarter received an unbelievable response of nearly $56,000— 11 times their initial donation goal. MotFD’s western audience brought the same charity and excitement to each of their shows, and Cambridge was no exception. The setlist included tracks old and new, from their 2009 album MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS to their 2018 album No New World. They also performed many songs from their most recent album, Awakening:Sleeping (2022), and even some unreleased tracks! You can scan through the photos of their set below. Supporting MoTFD for their tour are bands Cam Kahin and Sleepwalk.
