If you had the chance to pick any act in the world to play a Halloween show, odds are King Diamond would make the short list. The Danish metal singer and his band play every show with a production fitting the spookiest holiday. With a stage design to mimic an abandoned metal hospital, a staged sacrifice of a plastic doll, and more Kind Diamond & co make every show feel like a Halloween show. So when New England drew the Halloween date of the St. Lucifer’s Hospital tour, shock rock and metal fans across New England decided to flock to Boston for the show. With support from thrash legends Overkill and upstart traditional heavy metal outfit Night Demon, Kind Diamond gave fans a Halloween show to remember.
