Bay Area singer-songwriter mxmtoon was back in New England this week touring in support of her new album Liminal Space. Since she last visited in August, Maia has continued to grow her enormous social media following that first helped her reach the mainstream. In November, she made her network television debut when she performed “Rain” on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Wednesday’s show was true to mxmtoon fashion as it featured several instances of Maia pausing from performing to tell her audience about her songwriting process or inspirations for her songs. mxmtoon’s current tour wraps up it’s US leg tomorrow and then will proceed to Europe for the remainder of April.
